Junior QA Engineer

We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software through rigorous testing and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Conduct regression testing and ensure that resolved issues are re-tested.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers.
• Communicate test results and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation.
• Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Up to 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Good understanding of web and mobile application development.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies & Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python) for test script development.
