Sales Head

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Head to coordinate our sales team, who are actively involved in the decision-making process with technical team and upper management to ensure the team’s sales plans & strategies. The Sales head role to managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.


  • Own overall plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer (IT Services) base.
  • Assists in the development of the sales plan. Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales leaders and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting, and strategic planning.
  • Possess extensive understanding of Market Penetration. Create strategies and plans for the organization in the transition phase from service to product. Understand category-specific landscapes and trends to develop accurate sales projections.
  • Introducing improvements in business strategy based on the customer’s feedback.
  • Collaborate with global peers to meet all client RFP/RFI requirements and build fruitful relationships with clients. Involved in the creation of short & long- term plans for RFPs, software development & peer development.
  • Build process for manual top-down reach out, onboarding, activation, and expansion.
  • Liaise with local, principal support teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of technical issues that may arise during the pre-sales process.
  • Responsible for Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Target, Client interaction, Negotiation, Follow ups, and also Project coordination. Create a Business Proposal, Presentations, Slides, and other documents as required by the client or Upper Management.
  • Managing the entire sales process from the beginning to end with post sales follow-up.
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • Work collaboratively across teams – including Engineering, Product, and Marketing.
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives & provide transparence into the sale pipeline at every stage of development.
  • Adhere to timelines/deadlines as directed by the Founder, CXO and Sales Team.

Skills and Qualifications

  • MBA degree or equivalent.
  • 8 to 10 years’ experience in handling a sales team, 5+ years working experience with IT domain will be preferred).
  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to lead others on them
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, and recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strength in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client/customer relationships. Experience in working with global customer base.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
